Never before has horsepower been so abundant as right now. Manufacturers are continuously releasing performance cars with ever-increasing horsepower figures, but people still crave more. Take the Mercedes-AMG E63 for example. This luxury sedan produces a massive 603 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque from its 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine. You'd think that would be enough power, but not according to German tuner Posaidon. These guys are known for turning average German sports cars into supercar killers, and we've covered some of the company's previous creations, including a fire breathing Mercedes-AMG GT S, and a Mercedes-AMG G63 with nearly 1,000 hp, but this silver E63 S station wagon has to be its best work yet.

The E63 S is a magnificently fast car from the factory: Mercedes-AMG claims that this family-friendly super sedan can do the zero to sixty sprint in only 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 186 mph. That is faster than most people would be comfortable with, but Posaidon tuning caters to those that want to make their passengers spill their guts on finely upholstered leather seats.

Posaidon offers the E63 S in three states of tune: Stage one named the "Posaidon E 63 RS 830" gets the car up to an astonishing 819 horsepower and 811 lb-ft of torque. This is achieved by adding better flowing downpipes with sport catalytic converts, performance air filters, and an ECU tune. This allows the E63 S to dart to 62 mph in only 3.2 seconds.

For those brave enough, the stage 2 setup takes this Merc to an insane 868 hp and 885 lb-ft of torque thanks to an even bigger set of ball-bearing turbos. At this state of tune, the car can sprint to 62 mph in only 3.1 seconds according to Posaidon. Finally, stage 3 offers 927 hp and 944 lb-ft. This does require some intense machine work, and modifications include new valve housings, a rebuilt head, and methanol injection. Pricing for these kits has not been made public, but expect to pay a fair penny for such gains.
