Lennart Ribring was born in Sweden in 1919. The Ford Model T was launched only 11 years prior. That makes him 97-years-old. Ribring has also been a huge fan of the Mustang ever since he first saw the original 1964.5 Mustang, and that passion hasn't faded as the years and decades have gone by. But instead of just accepting his advanced age, Ribring is embracing it and life in general. At 97 years young, he just bought a brand-new 2016 Mustang GT. No EcoBoost, and no six-speed automatic. A 5.0-liter V8 with a six-speed manual was his preference.

What's even cooler is that he's officially the oldest Mustang driver in the world, and Ford wanted traveled to Sweden to meet the man himself.

The result is this short video, documenting Ribring's decades-long Mustang love affair, how he taught his son to drive in a Mustang, and why there was no option for him other than a new Mustang GT. So for anyone who thinks that aging means you can no longer have fun, think again. Lennart Ribring is proof that you're never too old to enjoy your passions.
