In a nutshell, here's how this went down: the best driving car in the world (according to BAC) was sent to drive along the world's best roads. Sounds like a dream road trip for any gearhead. That's because it was, and the BAC Mono was a part of it. The Atlantic Road Strip is a nearly 2,000-mile stretch that begins in Copenhagen, Denmark, moving north to Trondheim and then back south to the finish line in Stockholm, Sweden. And through it all drivers are exposed to some of the world's most gorgeous scenery and, of course, brilliant driving roads.

This was the first time the BAC Mono took part in the event and, needless to say, gathered quite a bit of attention, in Sweden particularly. And when you have great driving roads, they have to be curvaceous, with some serious elevation changes, because otherwise what would be the point? The BAC Mono road tripped through mountains, tunnels, forests, and the occasional city; an ideal scenic blend. With up to 14 hours of driving each day, the single seater also proved to be comfortable and reliable. With its 2.5-liter four-cylinder Mountune engine producing 305 hp and a 0-60 mph time of 2.8 seconds, this street legal track car has now proven itself on the open road.
