Unlike the majority of automakers, Vauxhall believes that a pickup should be a high-performance vehicle capable of hauling cargo and embarrassing other sports cars in a straight line. While the US doesn't get the insane pickup, we applaud the automaker's efforts and its newest Maloo is crazier than ever. The Maloo LSA, which is based on the Holden VXRD, gets the 6.2-liter supercharged V8 from the Chevrolet Camaro for an incredible 529 hp and 495 lb-ft of torque. That's more than the outgoing Porsche 911 Turbo.

With its ridiculous amount of power, it should come as no surprise to hear that the Maloo LSA can sprint to 62 mph in 4.6 seconds, while hauling up to 1,190 lbs of stuff in the back. To ensure that drivers can actually put all of the Maloo LSA's power down, the pickup has been fitted with a standard limited-slip differential and stiffer suspension. Vauxhall has also given the Maloo LSA a more aggressive look with a refreshed front bumper, a small splitter, black air vents in the hood and 20-inch wheels. These minor changes give the Maloo LSA a menacing look that we would kill to have. At current exchange rates, the Maloo LSA will cost US enthusiasts $81,165, which isn't exactly cheap, but is something that we'd gladly fork our money over for.
