It even has rare concepts and movie cars.
BMW Blog recently took a trip to Germany to visit some events hosted by BMW M and to watch the 24 Hour of Nurburgring Race. While in Germany, the group was invited to visit the new BMW Classics facility which just opened in March. This new facility is located on the grounds where the first BMW foundation was built 100 years ago. The collection of BMWs here is completely amazing, with rare concepts, race winners, as well as cars from famous Hollywood films. If you are BMW fan, this place is basically heaven.
The collection includes a number of pre-war cars, as well as classic cars like the 2002 and tons of 3, 5, and 7 Series models. The collection even has one of the highly-modified 7 Series that was used in the James Bond film "Tomorrow Never Dies." There is also an extremely valuable McLaren F1, which features a BMW engine. Some other gems in the collection include two 507 roadsters, one of which is the only yellow one in the world (valued at over $2 million). There is also a BMW 4/2 concept car that was meant to be an attempt at a city car. Have fun looking through some pictures from this incredible collection.
