This Bugatti Veyron Interior Costs Way More Than Your Car

Remember, it's what's on the inside that counts.

The original 1,000-horsepower hypercar may have been eclipsed in the figures that make headline news these days but don't for a second think that it is anything but a vicious quad-turbo beast with enough performance to see off just about anything this side of a Chiron. According to Hagerty, excellent examples still command up to $1,650,000 and even well-used ones tend not to dip below $1-million, so it goes without saying that they remain out of reach for the majority of us.

Now if we were to pick the best part of the Veyron to own it would have to be that 8.0-liter, 16-cylinder beast of an engine that lurks behind the driver, but these hypercars tend not to be offered for sale in bits and pieces. That may all be about to change though as the interior of a 2008 Veyron has just been put up for sale on eBay by Miami luxury car dealer, Braman Motors.

The offer includes the cognac colored seats, door cards, dashboard, seat belts, shift knob, A/C controls and steering wheel, center console, glove box and lower dash trim (not all parts were photographed). At the current asking price of $149,999, it seems like the first lucrative step towards completing that Veyron-owning dream.

All we need now is for someone else to list the wheels, engine, gearbox and bodyshell. And let's not forget the small matter of that initial $149,995 either. The dealer says the reason why only these items are on offer is that the owner preferred a black Veyron interior instead.

They also suggest that these parts would fit most other Model Year Veyrons and it would be a great opportunity to 'refresh' an aging interior. Indeed, we wonder whether these parts would also fit something more common like a Civic or Camry, that could increase their target market significantly.

The price would need a slight adjustment though, perhaps Braman Motors would also like to get in touch with the UK Top Gear crew, they seem to be in the habit of using car interiors for their sets.
