It's art...or something.
If you haven’t seen everything yet, you certainly will have after checking out these photos snapped by CarNewsChina of a Cadillac CT6 that lives underwater. It’s not as crazy as it sounds. Many businesses in China have giant fish tanks in the lobby with goldfish, as it is a belief in China that goldfish bring good luck. The Cadillac CT6 just went on sale in China and the model for the Chinese market is actually made there by the Shaghai-GM joint venture (a partnership with SAIC Motors). Maybe the Chinese now believe the CT6 brings good luck?
The CT6 in China features two engine options. The CT6 40T comes with a twin turbo 3.0-liter V6 distributing 405 horsepower among all four wheels with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The CT6 28T comes with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, but sends power to only the rear wheels. Later this year it’s likely that a plug-in hybrid version of the CT6 will be available, based around the 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. Good on China, though. This is a sweet vehicle. If you want to see this underwater CT6 for yourself you'll need to head over to Shanghai's Xintiandi mall.
