For over 25 years, Amalgam Collection has built some of the most insanely detailed scale model cars in the world. The British-based car model maker recently unveiled a stunning replica of the Ferrari SF1000 that raced in the 2020 Formula One championship available in 1:8 and 1:18 scales. In the past, Amalgam Collection has also created realistic scale replicas of the McLaren Senna and Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport Vitesse.

These models aren't child's toys: they're high-quality replicas aimed at collectors that take thousands of hours to build. As a result, they don't come cheap: the most expensive 1:8 scale McLaren Senna will set you back over $13,000. Yes, you could buy a real used car for that money.

Taking customization to the next level, Amalgam Collection has launched a new bespoke service allowing owners to commission a detailed 1:8 replica of their car to display in their home or office.

Every aspect of the owner's car can be replicated in exacting detail, from the license plates and wheels to the stitching on the seats. Amalgam Collection also works closely with manufacturers including Bugatti, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, Jaguar, and Porsche to access paint mixing codes, interior options, and specification data to match a car's exact specification. You can even add working headlights and taillights.

To showcase the painstaking modeling process, a video released Amalgam Collection by focuses on a unique Ferrari SF90 Stradale that recently featured in the Official Ferrari Magazine. Built to a unique specification commissioned by Ferrari, the model SF90 is finished in a Rosso Mugello red exterior with a Rosso Ferrari red interior. It also features black brake calipers and several carbon components. If you want to display this unique Ferrari SF90 Stradale scale model on your shelf, it's currently available to order with a starting price of £12,885 ($17,972).

The only limit is your imagination. Amalgam Collection says its bespoke service is not restricted to detailed replica models of cars, yachts, planes and architecture and "goes well beyond pure modelmaking into every creative and making skillset."
