When it comes to electric cars, few exude as much class and panache as the Audi RS e-tron GT. The svelte styling and high-performance is a lethal combination and, if you want an EV but still want to stand out from the crowd, it's rivaled only by the Porsche Taycan for wow factor.

It's no surprise then, that when it came to choosing his latest daily driver, the drifting maestro chose the electrified Audi. But it's no off-the-shelf example; Block has chosen to fit some choice extras to his four-ringed performer. In his latest video, the Hoonigan rally driver takes us on a tour of the e-tron GT.

"Audi is one of the main reasons I got into [rallying] as a kid. Everything from the Quattro...it was just a very [inspiring] thing to see those [cars] winning and it made me love [the sport]." He explains the flat white paintwork is an evolution of his previous signature flat black hue.

The mismatched wheels may not be to everyone's liking, but it certainly works on the Audi. There's a retro rally quality to it, no doubt given off by the white-painted Rotiform Aerodiscs fitted upfront. At the rear, Rotiform NGOs fill the arches nicely. The ace driver notes the wheels are specially made for the car. The Audi wears Toyo Sport tires but Block says they'll soon be replaced with Toyo Celsius items. "It's a great all-season tire, it's going to work exceptionally [well] for me in the mountains."

In 2021, the manufacturer teamed up with the pro driver, even creating him a unique concept car that draws inspiration from the original S1 rally legend. Known as the S1 Hoonitron. Despite the old-school looks, it's thoroughly modern underneath, gaining motivation from an electric motor. At the time, he said, "I think it's cool that the Audi designers have been inspired by [its] own past and uniquely transferred the car's technologies and appearance into the present."

While style is important, it's the performance that intrigues Block the most. With 590 horsepower and 612 lb-ft of torque, the all-electric RS is frighteningly quick. Zero to 60 mph is over in a claimed 3.3 seconds, but we've seen what it can do when confronted with a V10-powered Audi R8. The fact that the RS e-tron GT is one of the fastest Audis ever made is a source of pride for its owner, with Block smiling when he notes it's one of the quickest and torquiest cars ever made by the brand.

Aside from drifting, the pro driver clearly has an affinity for snow. Earlier this year, he joined Audi at the GP Ice Race in Zell am See, Austria, to put the RS Q e-tron through its paces. While not as extreme as the Dakar competitor, Block will undoubtedly enjoy his latest daily driver, something he describes as the "perfect fit for me, my family, and the snowboard adventures that I partake in on a daily basis."
