The traditional Honda Civic Tour is currently in full swing. Now in its 16th year, the annual tour combines live music, delicious food, and of course custom cars to promote the Civic hatchback. This year, the Japanese automaker has partnered with OneRepublic presumably in a bid to appeal to younger buyers. As part of the collaboration, the pop rock band has designed a one-off Civic Type R and Rebel motorcycle featuring a custom livery that's "inspired by the band's love of modern architecture and clean design."

The one-off Civic Type R combines a gloss and matte black exterior with striking red accents on the hood, side skirts and rear spoiler. OneRepublic badging has been unsubtly plastered along the side, and the car also features autographs from every member of the band. If nothing else, it's certainly more eye-catching than the standard Civic Type R which isn't exactly understated – but in this case, that's not necessarily a good thing. We'll just say it's an acquired taste. Honda also announced that fans will be given the opportunity to win a Civic sedan, hatchback, coupe, Si or Type R as part of its "Which Civic R U?" sweepstake at the tour.

The winner will get to choose any aforementioned car from the Civic range as their prize, in which case the range-topping Type R is the most obvious choice because, well, why wouldn't you?. As well as giving away a free car, fans will also be in with a chance to win a Rebel motorcycle and a trip to Los Angeles to see OneRepublic perform live.

Accompanying the concert is the "Civic Tour City Flavor," described as a pop-up food experience featuring food trucks supply local cuisine specific to each American city. The Honda Civic Tour started earlier this month, with headliner OneRepublic performing alongside special guests Fitz and The Tantrums and James Arthur. Among the American cities on the tour list include Dallas, Los Angeles and Phoenix before it wraps up on September 12th.
