In case you haven't heard of Volkner Mobil before, allow us a short introduction.

They build motorhomes for the wealthy, and their new Performance S model has just made its debut. The big news is the standard garage, which is big enough for a Bugatti Chiron.

The Performance S retails for $2.4 million, excluding the Bugatti. If you do want the Chiron as an optional extra, you'll have to head over to the nearest Bugatti dealer and hand over an additional $3 million.

Don't be put off by the high price, however. The sliding garage can easily accommodate a BMW i8, Ferrari 458, Mini Clubman, Porsche 911, or a classic Mercedes-Benz 300 SL. This isn't Volkner's first motorhome with a garage, but the previous version only had space for more plebian cars like the Audi A3.

To power the garage that slides from the side, Volkner covers the motorhome's roof in solar panels. Combined, they feed power to a 1,800 amp-hour battery. It's enough to power the garage and everything inside the motorhome.

In case you're wondering why a small house on wheels is so darn expensive, allow us to hit you with some standard feature facts. It has a full kitchen with a fridge, dishwasher, stove, and espresso machine. The $355,000 Burmester sound system will keep you entertained while you cook. How many homes do you know where the sound system is more expensive than the car in the garage? This doesn't count if you opt for the Bugatti or the classic Benz, however.

This particular model is equipped with a full-size shower, white leather upholstery, and Brilliant Blackwood veneer. As is usually the case with ultra-expensive toys, you can customize it any way you like.

We quite like the idea of an orange interior with a matching orange Ferrari 488.

The Performance S can be ordered with a Volvo or Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle engine. The Volvo engine produces 454 horsepower, while the Merc unit provides 424 hp. Both engines are mated to an automatic gearbox to make the Performance S as easy to drive as possible.

This motorhome is the ultimate post-Covid-19 accommodation solution. A lot of people are still big fans of social distancing. Heck, we were fans of staying away from the masses back in 2010 before it became cool. It's also the perfect car for the inevitable zombie apocalypse if you're part of the anti-vaxxing crowd.

You can part this motorhome in an isolated spot, far removed from society. But just in case you need some milk, you have the option of heading to the nearest shop in a Lamborghini Huracan.
