Heavily modified Dodge Vipers aren't anything new, but this one is definitely worth a shout out. The first reason is that Dukes of Hazzard Dodge Charger inspired General Lee paint job, sans Stars and Bars. But it's what under the hood that really matters: the 8.4-liter V10 has been modified with a pair of turbochargers and various other bits for a grand total of 2,300 hp. That's the maximum it's proven capable of producing, but its creators at Calvo Motorsports have detuned it somewhat since. Point being is that it's capable of 2,000+ hp.

Today it's running 93 octane pump gas, producing 1,700 hp. Not exactly a lightweight by any means. And now the Calvo team has taken this piece of Southern charm to the first ever Pump Gas Invitational.

Yeah, we never knew this event existed until now, thanks to the crew over at 1320video. The soon to be discontinued Viper is pitted against a Lamborghini Huracan in the semi-final and, well, we'll let you watch the drag race for yourselves.
