Whoever said it's a bad catch?
Every now and then you come across a sale like this one. For any number of reasons, in this case age and illness apply, a car enthusiast owner is not only forced to sell their car(s), but they also want to make sure everything ends up in the hands of a fellow enthusiast. And, as we all know, there are a lot of BMW M enthusiasts out there and we’re pretty darn sure at least one of them will find this offer very appealing, despite the slight catch. What is that catch? This E34 BMW M5 foursome comes only as a package; they can’t be bought individually.
All four are currently located in the UK and include the following: a 1991 3.6 Sebring grey sedan, 1992 3.8 Avus/grey sedan with a five-speed, 1993 3.8 Avus with a six-speed, and a 1994 3.8 five-speed black touring wagon. Each one has been properly restored by the seller and all are fully roadworthy. The price tag? 45,000 GBP for all four, or roughly $69,000. Not bad at all for a package deal. The E34 M5 was in production from 1989 until 1995. Each unit took roughly two weeks to build by hand and the wagon, in particular is quite rare because only 891 examples were made. Anyone looking for a solid investment opportunity?
