It's about preservation more than restoration.
Life isn't fair, sad to say. It's like Vegas, as Woody Allen once wrote. You're up, you're down, but in the end the house always wins. Doesn't mean you didn't have fun. And for one guy who chooses to remain anonymous, life didn't always work out so well. At 17 he was homeless. But he managed to turn things around to become a huge success. And he now owns one of the biggest collections of classic BMWs on the planet. His amazing collection consists of 45 BMWs, including the insanely rare BMW 700 RS.
The E30 M3? It's there too, along with one of the biggest selections of original BMW spare parts. The collection consists of BMWs dating back to 1960 to 1988, and he even employs his own shop manager. It's more about preservation than restoration, as he describes his passion.
