When you were a car-loving kid, you probably slept in a novelty bed shaped like a race car. As adults, we've all outgrown our race car beds, but the V8 Hotel lets you relive your childhood. Located in Stuttgart, Germany, the V8 Hotel is not your average hotel - it's a car lover's dream. Inside this automotive haven, you'll find 26 specially themed rooms with furniture and beds made from actual car parts.

Love BMWs? One room has a bed made from a BMW E36. For off-road enthusiasts, another room is themed around the Jeep Wrangler. There's even a workshop-style room where you sleep on a jacked-up Morris Minor being inspected. One of our favorites is the Italian racing-themed room that celebrates Alfa Romeo's racing history with a bed built from a vintage 1970s Alfa Romeo.

If you want more decedent accommodation, the V12 Mercedes Suite has four floors. Spanning 1,291 feet, the lavish suite comes with a panoramic bathroom featuring a sauna, a minibar, and a living room with a 47-inch flat screen TV. Since the V8 Hotel is based in Stuggart, it also offers tours at the Mercedes-Benz and Porsche museums.

While you stay at the V8 Hotel, the company's Drive It program lets you take a Mercedes-AMG C 63 S, Tesla Model X, or a Porsche 911 Turbo for a test drive.

If a member of your family staying at the hotel isn't as besotted with cars as you are, the V8 Hotel also offers standard rooms without car themes. Since it opened in 2018, the V8 Hotel has been very popular with auto aficionados, and it's easy to see why.

Good luck getting a reservation this summer though, because the availability of the V8-themed rooms is sold out until October and November, unless you want to splash out on the deluxe V12 Mercedes Suite. Each V8-themed room costs €184 ($216) per night, while the more luxurious V12 Mercedes Suite costs €655 ($770) per night.
