The good news is that you won't have to wait until Black Friday to pick this thing up.
Infiniti is pulling out all the stops to ensure that people know it isn't screwing around with the new Q60. It hired Jon Snow, aka "Game of Thrones" star Kit Harrington, for a commercial that was literally poetic. Now there's news that the Q60 Red Sport 400 will be the car in Neiman Marcus' Christmas catalog. You might not know it, but the upscale department store has been selling special edition of cars in its holiday catalog since 1970. Past cars include the McLaren 12C Spyder and a 700-horsepower Ford Mustang.
All of the cars sold in the catalog are offered as special editions, although some are more special than others. Infiniti didn't really do much to modify the Q60 for Neiman Marcus. It sports a new coat of paint, called Solar Mica, which is paired with a Gallery White leather interior featuring Silver Optic Fiber trim. Also included in the package is an ivory leather travel bag, an indoor car cover, a plaque displaying the special car's VIN and a certificate of authenticity. The Q60 Red Sport 400 Neiman Marcus Non-Denominational Winter Celebration Edition will be limited to just 50 units and is priced at $63,000. Compared to other cars featured in the catalog previously that's pretty affordable.
It's also not a bad deal period. The top-tier Red Sport 400 AWD starts at $53,000, with the price quickly climbing steadily towards $60,000 (and potentially beyond) once you start adding options and accessories. The order book for this bad boy opens November 2nd and you'll need to call 844-367-6971 to secure yours. Yes, you will actually have to pick up the phone if you want to order one of these Q60s. The good news is that your titanic effort will (kind of) be for a good cause. Infiniti will donate $1,000 to The Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation for every special Q60 purchased.
