This is Edsel Ford's First Mustang

One-off 1964 Mustang fastback given to Edsel B. Ford II by Henry Ford II for his 16th birthday.

Receiving a Mustang for your birthday is special. Even for the great-grandson of Henry Ford. This gorgeous custom 1964 Mustang fastback with pearlescent white paint and slim blue racing stripes was given to Edsel B. Ford II for his 16th birthday by his father, then Ford CEO and president Henry Ford II. It came with a functional hood scoop, fender-mounted reaview mirrors, a blue leather interior and his initials “EBF II” on the rear fuel filler cap. The one-off Stang became Edsel Ford's daily driver until it was destroyed in an accident four years later by a friend who borrowed it.
