The Tesla Model X is certainly not an ugly car. However, once in a while, somebody will look at a car, no matter what it is, and decide that it can be improved. Although customization of electric cars isn't all that common yet, companies like RevoZport have taken it upon themselves to get the jump on the competition. The company has already worked its magic on the Tesla Model 3 and has experience tastefully modifying other cars too. Anything from a Lamborghini Huracan to a Mini can go under RevoZport's knife, as long as the car is cool. We think the Tesla Model X is pretty cool, and RevoZport agrees. Hence, they've made it look even more special.

They've named this creation the XR and it features a carbon-fiber widebody kit. This widens the front track by just under an inch while the rear track is almost 1.4 inches wider. As you'd expect, this allows for some large wheels to fit snugly under the arches, and RevoZport has fitted 22-inch two-piece forged aluminum wheels of its own design. The body isn't just wider though - it's more aggressive too, thanks to carbon rear canards based on the design of the Tesla Roadster. These are complemented by a two-piece trunk spoiler that works surprisingly well with the active spoiler and suits cars without it just as well.

Other notable features include a new rear diffuser and a new front splitter that is claimed to improve downforce without adding much drag. New rocker panels are also fitted, along with a subtly aggressive vented hood, also made of carbon fiber. This is promised to improve airflow over the car. The parts are available individually or as part of a complete kit and have been designed to accommodate those that have previously upgraded their Model X's styling through the company.

RevoZport also offers other wheel designs if the ones pictured aren't to your taste. So how much does it cost? Depending on how many parts you want to add, the kit ranges from $6,800 to $8,100. Steep, but definitely satisfying.
