LaFerrari owners are not allowed.
Being a Ferrari owner places you in a rather rare and elite group. Annual sales used to be capped at 7,000 vehicles and last year's sales of 9,251 cars is its best result ever. If you happen to own a special edition or limited-run model like an Enzo or LaFerrari then things get even more exclusive, but all this pales in comparison to the members of the Corse Clienti Club.
To be eligible for entry you will have to own not only a 'standard' road-going Ferrari but one of their actual Formula 1 cars or have one of the equally exclusive XX track-only race cars as well.
Corse Clienti was established in 2003 and it runs two categories to cater for both types of cars, hosting around nine events at international race tracks like the Nurburgring, Suzuka, Imola and Bahrain.
It can cost up to $15,000 to take part and while that may sound like a big chunk of cash for a day out, the Corse Clienti team take care of just about everything you can think of. "Owners don't have to worry about anything except putting on their gloves and helmet, driving and have fun," say the organizers.
Support teams are always on hand to ensure that the cars are running smoothly and they even have chefs to prepare the types of meals that won't impede the drivers' ability to push their vehicles and themselves to the limit. The XX program is available for the 2005 FXX, 599XX and the 2018 FXX K and as these vehicles are not legal for road use, they are only ever seen at these events. For the Formula 1 car owners, professional drivers like Marc Gené, Olivier Beretta, Davide Rigon and Andrea Bertolini give expert assistance to help unlock the potential of these fearsome machines.
So there you have it, this is quite possibly one of the most exclusive clubs on the planet for those that clearly already have just about everything money can buy.
