This Is One Traffic Jam You Want To Be Stuck In

Supercar

Going nowhere never felt so good.

Cruising to the start of the 1.16-mile Goodwood hillclimb in the McLaren 650S Le Mans edition with dozens of rare exotics and track-only hypercars was almost as exciting as the climb itself. Like waiting in line for a rollercoaster but nowhere near as boring, what should have taken a few minutes to get to the starting line, ended up taking a couple of hours thanks to the exceptionally rare Mazda 767B racer crashing into the hay bales moments before the supercar run.

While the marshals recovered the racing car and cleared the track, the world’s most expensive traffic jam emerged, with the likes of the Koenigsegg One:1 and Porsche 911 GT1 part of a supercar standstill like no other.
