The new Cadillac Escalade will officially break cover on February 4.
The wait for the all-new Cadillac Escalade is nearly over. On February 4, the redesigned 2021 Cadillac Escalade will make its official debut in LA during the Oscars. Stan Lee will introduce the new SUV to the world, who has directed a new short film starring the new Escalade to help promote it.
Last week, Cadillac gave us a sneak peek at the new Escalade's front fascia. Combined with leaked photos that emerged online last December, we already have a good idea of what the 2021 Cadillac Escalade will look like. This has enabled artist Nikita Chuyko to produce an accurate render of the new Escalade that gives us our clearest look yet at the redesigned SUV.
At the front, the new Escalade features a large trapezoidal grill that mimics the style of the new CT6 and XT6, along with slim horizontal headlights connected to the grill and vertical LED running lights installed on the bumper. From the side profile, the new Escalade looks nearly identical to the new Tahoe and Yukon SUVs, while the rear has been updated with new vertical LED taillights and a trunk lid spoiler.
Inside, the 2021 Cadillac Escalade will have a more premium interior with higher quality materials and a much larger gauge cluster.
Cadillac has also confirmed the new Escalade will incorporate an industry-first 38-inch OLED screen producing more vibrant colors and deeper blacks.
Engine options haven't been confirmed yet, but the current Cadillac Escalade is powered by a 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 producing 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. We'll find out all the details when the 2021 Cadillac Escalade officially breaks cover next week. In the meantime, Cadillac is offering some significant discounts on the current Escalade, including $9,000 off the 2020 Escalade and a $8,000 discount for the 2019 Escalade.
