This is the first spy video of what we (and everyone else) assume is the upcoming Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. The car was caught testing around Ford's headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan. The Mustang in the video is the exact same prototype as was recently captured on camera, albeit with a few slight tweaks to the aero package. This mule is wearing a wing that is very similar to the one on the GT350R. Autocar is reporting that the engine underneath could make as much as 800 horsepower.

The car is definitely powered by a V8 of some description, that much is clear from the video. However, it never gets up to speed or accelerates quickly so it is difficult to tell if the car is turbocharged or features any kind of forced induction. We'll let you watch the video and see for yourself.
