The McLaren Senna is a lot of things, to be sure. "Stylish" isn't one of them, designed as it is to be as close to a race car for the road as anything Woking has ever made (which is saying a lot). That's why we particularly dig this example, which leans into its race-car approach instead of trying to smooth it over.

The American owner of this particular Senna had it done up in a Gulf livery. But as you can see, he (or maybe she) didn't go with baby blue and orange all over.

Instead, this Senna has black flanks and neon orange highlights reminiscent of the Gulf/Davidoff-sponsored McLaren F1 GTR Longtail that competed in the 1997 FIA GT Championship and the 24 Hours of Le Mans that same year, where it finished second only to a Porsche prototype.

It's a livery which McLaren Special Operations revived a year and a half ago for a one-off 675LT, and applied to this Senna (sans the red stripe on the black bits) for an extra $193,941. That'd be almost enough to buy a new 570S, but we suppose when you're shelling out a million bucks on a supercar, another $200k isn't going to stop you from getting it just the way you want.

It also has the optional seven-speaker Bowers & Wilkins audio system, air-conditioning, track telemetry system, three-point racing harnesses, black Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel, orange-stitched interior to complement the outside, and ultra-lightweight alloys, making it one of the better-equipped of the 500 Sennas made. And with only 192 miles on the clock, it's still in almost-new condition.

Do you both like what you see and have the means to make it yours? Then we have good news, because it's coming up for auction – but it won't come cheap. RM Sotheby's estimates it will sell for $1.1-1.25 million when the gavel drops in Arizona in the middle of next month.
