Forget what you think a rare exotic super car is. Every Jim and Joe with enough money can go out and buy a McLaren 720S or Bugatti Chiron, but the opportunity to own a Lucra LC470 Roadster doesn't come around very often. The gorgeous LC470 was designed and built by Lucra, a California-based sports car builder, and it is estimated that only 63 of these carbon-fiber supercars ever saw the light of day. World Wide Auctioneers now offers this 2019 LC470 Roadster for sale, and it has to be one of the weirdest, and coolest sales on the internet right now.

Back in 2013 we got our first glimpse of this car in action, and it looked simply amazing, with the performance to back up that classic styling. This unique creation rolls on a specially designed chassis which sits below a single-piece carbon-fiber body. This keeps the curb weight down to a featherweight 2,000 lbs. Under the hood you'll find an LS7 V8 engine with ported heads mated to a Lucra-built custom cold air intake, headers, and a Magnaflow exhaust system. This is good for 650 horsepower, which is sent to the rear wheels via a Remec TR600 five-speed manual gearbox. The LC470 Roadster will bolt to sixty in only 2.5 seconds, seeing off most contemporary hypercars.

With so little weight to carry, the Lucra LC470 Roadster will easily top out at over 200 mph if you're brave enough. Not only is it fast, but it grips in the corners too, thanks to a set of aluminum PRO shocks and C4 links. Scrubbing off the speed is a set of Wilwood four-wheel disk brakes. Interested parties can register to bid on the World Wide Auctioneers website, but you'd better make haste, because the auction takes place this Saturday, January 23.
