Luxury trucking could be the next big thing.
We all know how much hip-hop artists love using the Cadillac Escalade in their music videos, but when they're rapping about all their cash, they never mention how those dollar bills are transported. Well, the summer's perfect way to flex on your fam has arrived. This is the Escalade pickup, and it's a mashup of the blingy Caddy SUV and the Chevrolet Silverado 1500. There's no better way to transport your hoes (and other garden equipment) through the hood while letting everyone know that you've got stacks in the safe. In our eyes, it looks stunning, but what makes it particularly special is that this seems to be the first of its kind.
Don't trip - we know that face swaps as a concept are nothing new. We've seen digital depictions of a Cayman with a Taycan face and there's even an app that can put the face of a Lambo Urus on an Audi TT. What makes this special is that it's real and is the first Caddy pickup we've come across. Dom's Garage in Miami, Florida, put in the work but with no Facebook page or website and only two images on Instagram, we only get two snaps to pore over. Reading the comments on the post of this truck, we see that the panels don't line up easily and lots of custom fabrication was required to make the Caddy front fit on the Silverado.
We're blown away by how factory original this conversion looks. There's some clever work on the tailgate too, as this opens with the Cadillac emblem. The tuning shop's most recent post indicates that this is still a work in progress though, with more subtle touches to come. One that seems quite popular is the idea of making the rear window slide up and down like in a limo. We'll have to wait and see what's next for the project, but for now, we're impressed. Who knows, maybe Caddy might take notice and build one of its own.
