We're not sure if Mr JWW is trying to copy Shmee with the whole "hello and welcome!" thing, but he certainly has access to the same sorts of cars as the other famous British car reviewer. Speaking of all things British, Mr JWW can be seen here test driving what could one day replace the F-Pace as Jaguar's best-selling vehicle if electric cars take off. That, of course, would be the Jaguar I-Pace, the futuristic concept slated for production that we last saw at the 2016 LA Auto Show.

Jaguar has kindly taken this YouTuber on a test drive, one of the first, of a preproduction model of the I-Pace. Here we learn quite a bit about the car. After all, the I-Pace is slated for release in the middle of 2018. That does give Jaguar some time to patch things up, but for the most part this concept is close to production ready.

Speaking to Jaguar's Advanced Design Chief Sandy Boyes, Mr JWW discovers that the interior of the I-Pace is pretty much what we'll see on the production model. That's a both comforting and disconcerting to us. For one, the quality of the interior certainly looks a step up from some of the flimsy builds of recent entry-level Jaguars, but on the other hand it looks a bit too futuristic to appeal to lifelong fans of the brand. However the I-Pace is built with the mass market in mind and the company is not basing its final product on what a bunch of gearheads think, so listen closely and learn what you can about what will soon head the new generation of electric cars.
