Jaguar is lending a helping hand to The Bloodhound Project, which seeks to shatter the existing land speed record by hitting 1,000 mph. That’s 287 mph more than the current record. Jaguar has loaned the team
engineering experts and actual engines for the attempt, and now it’s throwing in an all-wheel drive F-Type R as a support vehicle. This Jag comes wrapped in a custom Bloodhound SSC livery that looks absolutely amazing and will be available as the rapid response vehicle in the event of an emergency.
