What do you think of this one-off Ferrari Enzo painted in Emerald Green?
Last month we discovered that someone was brave enough to paint their Ferrari F40 in British Racing Green to stand out from other F40s that are normally seen finished in Rosso Corsa red. This seems to be a growing trend, as another Ferrari supercar has been spotted wearing a custom British Racing Green paint job. With only 400 examples produced between 2002 and 2004, the Ferrari Enzo is an extremely rare supercar, but this one is arguably the most eye catching.
Bravely, the owner has had it painted in Emerald Green like the custom F40 we saw last month. Recently unveiled at Joe Macari Performance Cars in the UK, many will no doubt disapprove of this Emerald Green Ferrari Enzo and find it sacrilegious, but we think the result is stunning. The green paint suits the Ferrari Enzo surprisingly well, and it’s been complemented with a set of black wheels and red brake calipers. An Emerald Green Ferrari Enzo was always going to attract attention when we’re so used to seeing the Italian supercar finished in Rosso Corsa, but in this case we welcome the change.
No other details have been revealed, but we suspect the transformation will have been just as painstaking as the F40 which took three months to complete. In the case of the F40, imperfections were found on the bodywork after the Rosso Corsa paint was removed. Repainting an iconic supercar like the Ferrari Enzo will surely harm its resale value, but at least the owner can say their supercar is like no other in the world.
