This Is The Original Widowmaker

There will never be a supercar like this again.

There aren't a lot of supercars out there looking to kill you. Modern supercars may be blindingly fast, but have a host of safety features to make them easier and more enjoyable to drive. Classic supercars, like this Porsche 930 Turbo, are completely different animals. The 911 Turbo's 3.0-liter flat-six was fitted with a turbocharger that spun to 90,000 rpm to generate 11.4 psi of boost in an extremely violent way. To make the situation a little more dicey, the 930 Turbo didn't come with power steering or any modern electronics to keep you on the road.

This made the 930 Turbo fast and scary to drive. Since the majority of these ended up around a tree, this supercar is the first one worthy of being called a widowmaker.
