This Is The SLS AMG GT Final Edition

Special Edition

These will be the final 350 SLS AMG models ever made.

Next week, Mercedes will simultaneously unveil two new AMG models at the LA and Tokyo motor shows. The S65 AMG was introduced last week, and now the German carmaker has given us a chance to check out the SLS AMG GT Final Edition. This is a car that marks both the end of a spectacular era and the start of a new one with a Porsche 911 Turbo fighter currently under development at AMG’s Affalterbach skunk works.

Built in a limited run of just 350 units, this is the last time customers will be able to order a SLS AMG. There’s no more power, as 583 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque from the car’s 6.2-liter V8 is more than enough, but there are some nice touches such as a carbon-fiber hood and splitter, new rear wing, upgraded brakes and restyled front bumper. An upgraded interior is also expected. Look out for live shots of the car from the two events in the coming days.
