Ben Collins is a man who makes a living doing what gearheads dream of; driving fast cars like he stole them. Despite being one of Hollywood's best stunt drivers and racing for NASCAR and Le Mans, you probably know Collins best as the helmet-wearing Stig from Top Gear. Collins recently teamed up with Lionsgate Entertainment to find the best stunt car for a chase scene. To do this, Collins beat top tier cars like the Aston Martin Vanquish and BMW M3 around a track, subjecting them to explosive challenges for his film, Ben Collins: Stunt Driver.

After a rigorous 48 hours of intense testing, the Stig himself declared the Ford Mustang GT as the best stunt car ever. Collins cited the 5.0-liter V8's ability to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.8 seconds and achieve a 0.97g-force rating of cornering force on the track as some of the reasons for the Mustang's win. However, there is more to the car than numbers, and the Mustang's legendary screen presence is a part of this. According to Ford, the Mustang has been present over 3,700 times in Hollywood flicks since Bullitt came out in 1968. Make sure to set aside $32,395 for a new GT the next time you want to outrun the fuzz.
