Unlike most automakers, Audi still sells wagons in America including the high-performance RS6 Avant and the rugged A6 Allroad. But what if you want to combine the performance of the RS6 with the off-road capability of the Allroad? Unfortunately, Audi has never built a hardcore RS6 Allroad. To fill the void, someone in Germany has built the world's first custom RS6 Allroad, which is currently for sale on eBay.

The custom RS6 Allroad started life as a regular 2003 Audi A6 Allroad Quattro 2.5 TDI with 164,663 miles on the odometer, though only 1,243 miles have been added since the conversion.

Under the hood, the original engine was replaced with a twin-turbo 4.2-liter V8 from an RS6 producing 444 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque. Power is still sent to all four wheels through a quattro all-wheel drive system, but the original automatic transmission has been replaced with a six-speed manual.

Other components borrowed from the RS6 include the rear axle, front and rear brakes, steering knuckle, and exhaust. A KW V2 Coilover suspension kit replaces the original A6 Allroad's air suspension and the custom build rides on 20-inch forged wheels taken from an RS5 wrapped in 255/35/R20 performance tires.

The result is a more rugged-looking RS6 with black plastic body cladding that lacks the original Allroad's off-road capability. On the outside, the A6 Allroad is finished in Sunflower Yellow, which is also applied to the interior trim. While the photos of the interior show Recaro seats with leather upholstery, the seller is replacing them with Alcantara. For some reason, the floor mats resemble a children's play road mat.

The seller admits the project is still being worked on, so it may have some reliability issues. We advise approaching with caution, but if you're feeling brave enough to buy it, the custom Audi RS6 Allroad is listed for sale in Germany for €17,999 ($21,092).
