A short time ago a Maserati GranTurismo was found resting on its side outside a damaged building on the campus of South Africa's University of Cape Town. The vehicle was abandoned by a driver who is suspected of having driven under the influence and fleeing the scene. The car was apparently speeding around a bend when it lost control and crashed through a fence into the building's wall. The white Maserati was previously seen by campus grounds staff speeding around the school earlier in the day.

Unfortunately the luxury car is badly damaged with broken windows, a bent hood and severe damage to the front end and left side of the vehicle.
