This is Where Aston Martins Are Born

Supercar

Aston Martin is today building some of the finest road and race cars in its 100-year existence.

100 years. That’s how long Aston Martin has been in existence. It’s certainly had its fair share of ups and downs over the decades, but today the automaker has a state-of-the-art factory in Gaydon, a highly successful racing team, and some of the most beautiful road cars in the world. In this latest episode of the Drive Channel’s Driven series, we’re taken on a tour of Aston Martin old and new. Along with the new factory, there’s also a technical center that’s solely devoted to the upkeep of old AMs.

Owners from all parts of the globe send their cars here for anything from basic repairs by a certified technician, to an automatic-to-manual gearbox conversion and even a right-hand to left-hand drive switcheroo. And it’s this type of brand devotion that will keep Aston Martin alive for decades to come.
