Only 500 Lexus LFAs were built between December 2010 and December 2012, meaning just 20 units were produced monthly. That's roughly one car per day, and it took a unparalleled amount of craftsmanship, patience and dedication in order to make that happen. The LFA is truly one of the finest examples of Japanese manufacturing. and Motor Trend was fortunate enough to go behind the scenes of Lexus LFA Works in Japan to meet the people who gave it life.

Powered by a 4.8-liter V10 producing 553 horsepower, the LFA was assembled by a team of craftsmen called "Takumi", the finest specialists brought together from other Lexus factories. But now it's all over and the LFA will sail into supercar history.
