This Is Why Even The Most Diehard Racers Are Scared Of The Rain

They say you feel most alive when you’re on the edge of death.

The Nurburgring is a track that separates the casual enthusiast from the diehard, not because it takes skills to conquer but because enough people have died on it that only the truly passionate would risk their lives to attempt it. Flames from a fiery crash nearly engulfed F1 driver Niki Lauda, and the ring has claimed the lives of many others and even has even been known to be unkind to spectators who are doing nothing more than looking on curiously. One can only imagine how dangerous it must be to race there when wet.

Luckily, you don’t have to imagine. Just watch and decide if you have what it takes to take a lap in the wet.
