This Is Why The Range Rover Is The Best Of The Best

There are more expensive SUVs than the Range Rover on the market, but nothing better.

Reports that the next Range Rover will have the Bentley Bentayga in its crosshairs is evidence the ultra-luxury SUV war has only just begun. Rolls-Royce and Lamborghini will have models to compete in this segment by the time the next-generation Range Rover arrives, which is why the British marque has plans to take its iconic SUV further upmarket. What we expect to see is the premium features exclusively reserved for the current top-trim Autobiography model trickle down to the stand Range Rover.

That will leave space for a model at the top of the line to cross swords with the likes of Bentley and Rolls-Royce. In our latest unboxing video, we take a look at the Range Rover HSE (High Specific Equipment), which despite already being supremely plush and carrying a price tag just shy of $100k is not much more than an entry-level model.
