In case you needed any more proof that buyers are turning away from traditional supercars and towards high-powered SUVs, Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi purchased a brand-new 2021 Lamborghini Urus. With 641 horsepower from a twin-turbocharged V8, the Urus should be plenty quick for the legendary rockstar, rocketing to 60 mph in only 3.6 seconds and onto a 189 mpg top speed. Oh, and we're sure the increased ride height will be beneficial for the 73-year-old, who may no longer relish slinking into a low-slung supercar.

Iommi is already no stranger to the Lamborghini brand based on his ownership history.

"I started off with two Espadas in the '70s, one after the other, then I bought a Miura SV," Iommi explained. "When the Urus came out, I fell in love with it. It drives well, and it's comfortable; I was impressed with the first time I tried it during a track day. It was great and very responsive! When I put my foot down, I couldn't believe it: it didn't seem right, with a car of that size going that fast. I had to own it. And I've gone mad on blue all of a sudden, so it had to be blue."

Iommi didn't specify which blue he chose, but it looks like Lamborghini's Blu Eleos Metallic to our eyes. From the lone interior shot, it looks like the rockstar opted for a black interior with yellow contrast stitching. As someone who has traveled the world extensively, Iommi has interesting plans for his new Urus.

"I've done 50 years of flying everywhere around the world umpteen times, so I think traveling days are over for me," he said, citing the global pandemic that has limited travel for the past year. "Now it's nice to be in one spot for a bit, and - I can't believe it - this is the longest I've ever been in one place. But when it will be possible to travel again I'll drive the Urus to our house down in Sandbanks, by the sea in Dorset."
