This Lego BMW i8 Is So Detailed It Features A Working Hybrid Powertrain

Video

We want one now.

It has been quite some time since we featured the work of Sheepo on CarBuzz. Last we saw the Lego genius had built a Caterham 7. Now he’s working with something a bit more modern: the BMW i8. The Spaniard has created a replica that is insanely detailed. There’re the little things you’d expect, such as a working steering wheel. Then there’s some more complicated stuff, multi-link rear suspension, a hybrid engine (as hybrid as a Lego model can get) and even a folding roof.

That’s right, Sheepo built an i8 Spyder before BMW. Check out this video to see the incredible model in action.
