Who wants to see this on store shelves? We do.
In case you weren't already aware, there's something called the LEGO Ideas website. Its name is self-explanatory. Anyway, last month were we first shown a scale model of a Lamborghini Veneno constructed entirely out of LEGOS. And now another LEGO enthusiast has created a 1:17 scale model of the new Ford GT. Constructed from around 950 bricks, this Ford GT includes everything it should: scissor doors, detailed twin-turbo V6 engine, trunk, and hood.
Its builder admits he was forced to take some creative discretion with the engine appearance because Ford has yet to reveal its final look. The blue and black interior also features as much detail as possible. All told, the model's dimensions come in at 270 mm long, by 110 mm wide, by 80 mm tall. Like the Veneno and all other LEGO Ideas projects, 10,000 votes are needed in order to get it officially reviewed by LEGO designers and marketing reps for possible production. Head over to the LEGO Ideas website to show your support.
