This Outrageous Smart Car Is A Supercar Killer

Quarter Mile

The fastest Smart car in the world is back.

When it laid down a quarter-mile run of 10.26 seconds at 130.83 mph, the plan was to get the “Nu Big Thing” to break into the nines. And that day has now come. The outrageous Smart comes powered by a 9.0-liter Big-Block Chevy engine, which after a few adjustments is now pushing 750 horsepower. And as you will see, that was enough to see the world’s fastest Smart car clock the quarter-mile in 9.963 seconds at a speed of 133.65 mph.

The phenomenal little car has held the title of world’s fastest smart car for a while now, and it doesn’t look as if that will change anytime soon.
