When your car speaks this will be your translator.
While some mechanically-gifted readers may find the idea offensive, most drivers’ knowledge of how to fix an issue in their car - let alone diagnose it - is usually limited to changing flat tires or replacing a headlight bulb. But now, a new app called ClingClanger is offering a full library of car sounds, which you can narrow down and use to get an initial diagnosis of what is ailing your car. At a later stage, the app will use your phone’s speaker to listen to and diagnose a host of unwanted car sounds.
Don’t fire your mechanic just yet, but with car rattles, clanks and squeaks diagnosed, it's like having Click & Clack in your pocket.
