To be clear, this 1969 Ford Mustang Boss 429 does not belong to Jay Leno, although if he wanted one we're pretty sure it wouldn't be a problem. This fully restored Mustang Boss 429 has been returned to its original 100 percent bone stock condition. No extra mods. The original smog pump has been reinstalled and even the factory chalk marks under the hood have been retained. Disc brakes are up front with those old drums at the rear. The tires? They'll melt after doing a few burnouts.

As opposed to Mustang restoration shops, like Classic Recreations, Anghel Restorations specializes in bringing Mustangs back to exactly how they were the day they left the factory back in 1969 and 1970. Does that make them the safest cars to drive today? Uh, no. But they're still quite a time warp back to the golden era of American Muscle.
