As China is the largest electric car market in the world, it's not surprising that new electric vehicle debuts dominated the 2020 Beijing Motor Show. One of the standout EV debuts at the show is the Neta Eureka 03 concept, a stylish electric sedan previewing a future Tesla Model 3 fighter for China. When it enters production, this will be Neta's third model joining the company's U and N01 crossovers.

Measuring 189 inches long, 78.7 inches wide, and 55.1 inches tall with a 114-inch wheelbase, the Eureka 03 sports a sleek design, incorporating distinctive Y-shaped headlights that span the full width of the front fascia, separated by a large illuminated V.

A large lower grille provides cooling and features Eureka 03 branding. Stylish triangular strakes adorn the side profile and the electric sedan rides on striking five-spoke aerodynamic wheels. At the back, boomerang-shaped taillights are connected with a full-width light bar, and there's also a subtle rear spoiler hinting at the car's performance.

Speaking of which, Neta is keeping technical details about the concept's powertrain under wraps for now, but Neta claims the concept can accelerate from 0-62 mph in four seconds and deliver a range of 497 miles based on the CLTC cycle.

For comparison, the Tesla Model 3 Performance will hit 0-62 mph in 3.2 seconds thanks to its dual-motor setup sending 480 horsepower to all four wheels, while the Long Range variant will achieve 322 miles of range on a single charge.

The concept is also equipped with Level 4 autonomous driving technology and small cameras replacing the traditional side mirrors. Production of the Neta Eureka 03 is expected to start in 2022 and go on sale in China the same year. Neta hasn't announced plans to sell the Eureka 03 outside of China, however.
