This Terrifying Video Shows Us Why Self-Driving Cars Will Make Stoplights A Thing Of The Past

Autonomous Car

Can we please go back to simpler times?

We keep hearing about how self-driving cars are going to make driving safer by eliminating accidents. That doesn’t stop us from feeling a bit queasy about letting a robot take the wheel and now traffic engineers at MIT are scaring us even more by showing us how intersections of the future will look like. According to MIT, there will be no stoplights in the future. Instead, cars will just plow through because cars will communicate with other cars in intersecting lanes and adjust speeds to avoid a collision.

While this may save time, it will probably cause a heart attack or two in the process.
