Traxxas is known for building some of the fastest, toughest, and stunningly realistic RC cars on the planet. The Texas-based company sells high-performance RC versions of everything from the Ford Bronco to the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C8 and Ford GT. The latest addition to its RC lineup is a 1/10 scale version of the Toyota GR Supra GT4 race car.

Traxxas has replicated the Supra's muscular curves and aero components in painstaking detail. Underpinning the GR Supra GT4 RC car is the company's 4-Tec 3.0 chassis, which is longer and wider to accommodate the GR Supra's longer wheelbase and wider track. According to Traxxas, its longer and wider footprint improves stability and refines the handling.

The chassis rides on oil-filled shock absorbers and features a dual-link suspension that can be fully tuned to suit different surfaces. Accessing the chassis is quick easy thanks to a clipless body mounting system seamlessly integrated into the body without disrupting the design lines.

All of the electronics are also waterproof, so bad weather conditions won't spoil the fun. Even the wheels and tires are exact replicas of those found on the real race car. Two liveries are available, including a red, white, and black design with a racing number, and a more restrained design with a white body and black decals.

A video released by Traxxas (above) shows two RC GR Supra GT4s battling it out on the track, and it looks like a lot of fun. In real-life, the Toyota GR Supra GT4 is powered by a BMW-sourced 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine producing 430 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque. With AWD, the RC Toyota GR Supra GT4 has a top speed of over 30 mph, so it's not the fastest RC car Traxxas makes - that would be the XO-1, the world's fastest RC car with a 0-100 mph time of less than five seconds and a top speed of over 100 mph.

The RC car's complexity, detailed design, and high-quality components means this is not a cheap car: it can be yours for $349.99.
