We all have our favorite movie car, whether it's the Bullitt Mustang, the Dodge Charger in the Dukes of Hazzard better known as the General Lee, or the Smokey and the Bandit Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. Many movie fans love to customize their cars to pay homage to these movie icons, often with mixed results. Keen to make their Mustang stand out from the crowd, one owner used the futuristic vehicles in the fantasy world of Tron as inspiration when customizing their Ford Mustang, and it looks out of this world.

It belongs to science fiction fanatic Josh Rivers, who was the victim of a shooting which left him paralyzed from the waist down. As such, his Mustang has been modified with specially equipped hand controls. We've often said that some cars look like they belong in a science fiction movie, but never has that been more appropriate here. Aptly called 'The Green Machine,' Holmes worked with Apex Customs to give his Mustang the Tron treatment. A special dark green vinyl wrap covers the body with Tron-inspired lines in Sheer Luck Green. The same style was applied to the Rosso Insignia 20-inch wheels, which were powder coated and wrapped in Sheer Luck Green.

The brake calipers were also given the powder-coated treatment. At the front are green halo headlights and fog lights, as well as green LED daytime running lamps, green LED accent lighting behind the grille. Unsurprisingly, the Tron theme continues when you step inside with green trim and accent lighting. Even the key fob was painted green. Rivers was pleased with the transformation, but says he may consider applying a lighter green vinyl wrap in the future. For now, this has to be one of the most unique Mustangs on the road.
