An E30 BMW blowing up is hilarious on its own, but to make it even better means adding a turbo and watching it light up like a 50-year-old's birthday cake. The driver doesn't seem too disturbed by the event, even though he effectively destroyed a highly comedic piece of German engineering. All in good fun though, as 120 mph was met with ferocity and ultimate demise. The engine bay is nice, all shiny and chrome. Off to Valhalla it went. It's just too bad the whole thing didn't explode like a proper viking car.

The incident happened at Street Car Take Over Indy, a drag strip event. It was apparently due to oil leaking on the exhaust manifold. Well we're not sure about all that, but watch and decide for yourself. At least no one's losing too much money.
