We aren't big fans of BMW's 5 Series Gran Turismo, as evidenced by its starring role in our "What The Hell Were They Thinking" series. Still, despite our complaints this video featuring the 5 Series GT is pretty damn awesome. The car isn't really the focus, though. No, what is on full display is how crazy automakers get when it comes to disguising new models. This video walks you through the camouflage process, from the initial computer renderings to the mounting of the parts.

There's a lot that goes into disguising a car's look, so the next time you freak out over spy shots remember to temper your excitement. Those body panels could very well be 3D stickers.
