But what about that V10?

Rumors about the next generation BMW M5 have been mixed with good and bad news. Some say that the car will go back to the raspy V10 while others state that all-wheel drive will replace rear-wheel drive. However watching the next generation of M5 lap the Nurburgring may answer some of these questions. First, the fact that the tail kicks out points to rear-wheel drive or at least a rear-biased all-wheel drive system. Unfortunately, the muted engine note probably means that the V10 won’t make it back to the M5.
